Day 9: Tips on Shopping
Breakfast: Apple
Lunch:Vegan Burger
Dinner:Naked burrito with chicken
This week came another time for me to go food shopping for healthy things. As they always tell you: "Only shop in the outside lanes of a food market." This is because the outside lanes always carry your grains, fruits, dairy, veggies, and protein. Throughout this project I have made a bet with myself that I would not enter any of the middle lanes just to see how dependent I would be on them.
I am sorry to say that I did go into the center lanes twice, but in my defense I was only getting 100 calorie snacks and shampoo (so lets not count them). For the most part, by only staying in the outside lanes of the grocery store I was able to make smarter choices with the food that I purchased.
